You wreath a creature in emberlight, granting resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. The first time the warded creature is hit, the attacker takes fire damage equal to your spellcasting ability modifier.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, increase the initial fire damage by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
